Sanlorenzo presents “The Sea in Milan” at FuoriSalone 2017

Sanlorenzo presents “The Sea in Milan” at Triennale Milano during FuoriSalone 2017, transforming one of the city’s design landmarks into an immersive experience dedicated to yacht design. Through large-scale projections that turn the urban landscape into distant seas and a pathway introducing the shipyard’s main yacht ranges, the installation highlights Sanlorenzo’s ability to engage with contemporary design languages and reinterpret the way the sea is experienced. Inside, a dedicated room showcases the collaborations with Dordoni Architetti, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Piero Lissoni, whose work has helped redefine nautical aesthetics by bringing the concept of “home living” on board. With “The Sea in Milan”, Sanlorenzo reaffirms its commitment to exploring creative territories connected to art and design, while celebrating the craftsmanship, bespoke approach and manufacturing excellence that shape the shipyard’s identity. This installation was awarded the prestigious Compasso d’Oro, established by the ADI.
