Sustainability
A clear and structured governance framework guides the integration of sustainability into the Group’s strategy and processes.

Considering the exponential growth in the importance of sustainability issues, both in general and within the specific sector, and with the progressive integration of sustainability into corporate strategy and operations, it has been essential for Sanlorenzo to clearly define the transversal role of sustainability across the Group and, in particular, within the organizational structure.
The Board of Directors retains ultimate responsibility for decisions and strategic direction on sustainability, including sustainability reporting. Sanlorenzo is committed to keeping its Board regularly updated, both on the topic in general and on the management of reporting activities and double materiality analysis.
The Control, Risks, and Sustainability Committee assists the Board of Directors in preparing the sustainability reporting by approving the list of topics considered material for the Group. This opinion is then submitted to the Board, which makes the final decisions on the matter. Sustainability topics are delegated to the Committee, which also assesses the associated risks and opportunities related to the material issues.
Since 2023, Sanlorenzo has established the Sustainability Task Force, an internal working group aimed at regularly bringing new initiatives and topics to the attention of management. ESG objectives have been integrated into the variable remuneration systems (see the Remuneration Report for details).
Finally, since 2023, the Sustainability Function (sustainability@sanlorenzoyacht.com) has been managing these aspects. The importance of involving multiple corporate functions remains unquestionable, particularly regarding reporting and the coordination of activities.
Fundamental to this is the collaboration of all Sanlorenzo employees in contributing to the company’s responsibility for sustainable development, particularly through internal awareness-raising activities.
