Sustainability
We grow as a Group by investing in our people, their safety, the respect of their rights, and an inclusive work environment.

The number of people within the Sanlorenzo Group is continuously growing, and the issues to address are manifold. Foremost among these is the protection of health and safety: continuous monitoring of workplace accidents is conducted for both employees and workers from contracting companies. In general, Sanlorenzo ensures safe and healthy working conditions for all personnel and contractors to prevent accidents and the development of occupational diseases. All shipyards are equipped with an ISO 45001:2018-certified Health and Safety Management System. By the end of 2025, the Group also introduced a new Human Rights Policy and a Human Resources Policy, which apply both to Sanlorenzo and all Group companies.
Another important topic for the Group’s people is the promotion of diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities for all workers. The goal is to build an open and stimulating work environment, with the aim of preventing and, where necessary, carefully managing any form of discriminatory behavior.
Another crucial topic is the protection of fundamental workers’ rights. To promote awareness and training for workers from contracting companies regarding their rights, Sanlorenzo has supported the development of two initiatives, in collaboration with Confindustria La Spezia and the local Prefecture: information desks at the La Spezia shipyard providing intercultural mediation on labor matters, and a training program to deepen understanding of labor relations, workers’ rights and duties, and workplace safety. In addition, to safeguard all its people, the Group has adopted a Human Rights Policy.
All the information and topics mentioned here are discussed, explained and explored in depth in the Sanlorenzo Group's Human Resources Management Policy.
